Goals

I - Highlight the need for universal effectiveness of presevering standards, principles and values of the United Nations;
II - Assistance to plans and efforts of governments, parliaments and institutions on the path to fullness of human security, as well as the actions and the protocols to human rights protection in Latin America.

Agenda 2030 of the United Nations - 17 Sustainable Development Goals

Commitment Number 16 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals - Agenda 2030 of the United Nations: The conquest of more just, peaceful, inclusive and solidarity societies.

Liaison with the United Nations

The Permanent Latin America Committee for Crime Prevention (COPLAD) is a Program of the United Nations Latin America Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders (ILANUD) whose headquarters is located in the City of San José, Costa Rica.

Composition

The Permanent Latin America Committee for Crime Prevention - COPLAD, Program of ILANUD, is composed of Experts from 19 Latin America Countries.
